A2 Coursework: Artist Brand Identity Brainstorm (Digipak Ideas)

I have started to look at the brand identity that I was my artist to have when I promote him and advertise his album. I look at the themes and style that I want my artist to have and how I can make it appeal to my target audience.

I first looked at the style image and what style I would classify my artist to have. So  I watched through my video and found that my artist has and indie, arty  and upbeat style. As he is very cheerful through out the video. I then looked at his clothes to see what style category he would fall under for his style of clothing. I found that my artist also had a indie style in terms of clothing as he didn't wear and popular brand that most teenagers his age would go for, but instead he goes his own style. Such as the vintage jacket that he wears through out the video.

I found that the autumnal colours suited my artist best and will use it for digi pak and posters as the colour compliments my artist. I will also be using a romantic theme through out as my artist tends to sing romantic songs and it will appeal to my target audience as the majority  are female.

My artist is very similar to other artist such as Bruno Mars, Andy Grammer and Ed Sheeran as they have quite a quirky and acoustic/pop type of music and also popular amongst my target audience.  My artist also has quite a similar style of music and fashion to indie artist Adam Barnes I hope to incorporate a lot of Adam Barnes styling to my artist as I feel that it will achieve the look that I want for my Digipak.
